Hala is known for its ancient and oriental dishes. What differentiates Hala from other restaurants is that all the profits are distributed entirely to charitable projects. Some of the projects that have been funded include support for a women’s charity in Gaza, an orphanage in Jordan and in-kind aid for Syrian refugees on the Turkish border.
Hala started as a home project in a small suburb in 2011 by some passionate housewives to produce traditional Arabic dishes for charitable work under the name “Halawet Hana”.
The project developed with God’s grace, initial support from the RAF Foundation, and encouragement of customers. It soon became a restaurant for preparing meals, serving ancient and oriental dishes with a distinctive home taste, under the supervision of specialized chefs.
In 2013, Hala became an officially registered company in the State of Qatar.
The new headquarters have 3 sections, hot kitchen, cold kitchen, and the desserts section. They are equipped with the latest devices and equipment to serve our valued customers.
Hala is proud to be the first Kitchen in Qatar to donate all of its profits to charity.
